What to expect in 2026

Coming off the back of our biggest event yet, with over 900 entrants and tens of thousands of spectators filling Mount Panorama over three action-packed days, Bathurst Autofest 2026 is gearing up to be even more massive!

Since it's inception in 2004, Bathurst Autofest has grown to become one of the premier Motorsport events in Australia, bringing together car lovers, thrill-seekers, and the best-built machines from all over the country. Expect to see:

Tyre-frying burnout battles
High-speed Super Sprints on the legendary circuit
Side-by-side Go to Whoa racing down pit straight
Elite-level Show n Shine with Australia's finest street machines, hot rods, and customs
Top 32 Shootout, Grab a Flag, Autokana, and more
The hunt for Grand Champion, where onlt the toughest all-rounder takes the crown

With camping on-site, heaps of trade stalls, food vendors, and entertainment for the whole family, it's more than just a car event - it's a full weekend experience.

Outdoor Show n Shine - $100
Buddy/Passenger Pass - Adult $125, Youth $65

Please note: There are no pit garages available

Any entrants with no front or rear brakes fitted CANNOT participate in the following events:

Go to Whoa
Super Sprints
Top 32 Shootout

The only Pit Straight event these vehicles can participate in is the Super Skids. Please ensure your vehicle meets the necessary safety requirements for your chosen events.

SUPER SUNDAY BUY IN
For the first time ever, Bathurst Autofest is introducing the Super Sunday Buy-In - giving more entrants the chance to hit the track and compete for prize money! This is open to all eligible entrants - existing or new.

Prize Pool:

Winner - 70% of total buy in
Runner Up - 30% of total buy in
2nd Runner Up - Entry fee & buy-in refunded

Please read the Super Sunday Buy-In rules and regulations carefully before submitting your application. Applications open: Friday 17th October at 12:00pm via online application form (not the entry form). A link to the application form will be posted here on this web page and on our facebook page. Only the first 100 submissions will be accepted.
